The GPF Crypto stick is a small USB stick containing an OpenPGP smart card to support easy and high secure encryption e.g. of e-mails. The secret keys will be stored in the Crypto Stick and access is PIN protected. All cryptographic operations are processed in the Crypto Stick so that the secret keys are kept secure and can not extracted from the Crypto Stick. Therefore the Crypto Stick could be used even on a computer with installed trojaner and viruses or could get lost or stolen but the secret keys remain secure. The current version 1 does not contain any storage but version 2 will contain encrypted storage additionally.
